Final Blog
For my group presentation, we incorporated Twitter into our presentation on Twitter. It was useful in the sense that we basically just summarized our points being made with the tweets. Each tweet was an overview of what we talked about in more detail. It was difficult because we wanted to write everything in threads but the threads got confusing to follow after a while. Threads with multiple people can get jumbled together and it can become hard to go back and find them all in order. It was also challenging for the history part of the presentation because some of the tweets we wanted to show were too far back and couldn't be found. Instead, Jane tweeted the tweet herself and tagged the user. This was the fault of Twitter because of how they have their platform set up. I believe the mistakes we made with the threads were our own fault. If we had to do it again, I would probably not use threads as much and just make separate tweets for each point. However, I liked that we were able to incorporate messaging and polls into our presentation. I think we were able to show a lot of Twitter's features well through our use of the site.
